I've noticed that Anthony had his best singing season from 2009 to 2019 during the JK Dashwood tenure. Not sure if it had anything to do with it, but his live voice was at the top of his game then.

Why they brought John back I do not know. Josh's two albums brought some life into this band that is now gone. The two latest albums, UL and ROTDC, are ponderous and forgettable at best, bar two or three songs. I like John and I like his older stuff, but I can't help but feel they've regressed a bit since he returned. At least Josh is willing to play someone else's music!
